No-Bake Chocolate Mousse Tart
Would you believe me if I said there’s an avocado in here?! The avocado and coconut cream make the chocolate ganache super super and thick, which tastes so amazing with the date-hazelnut base!!
No-Bake Chocolate Mousse Tart

Makes 1 tart
Ingredients:
Base:
- 1 1/2 cup hazelnuts
- 1 cup packed medjool dates (about 18-20)
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons softened coconut oil
Chocolate ganache:
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1 cup coconut cream (the thick part from the can)
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Blend together all the base ingredients in a food processor. 
- Press into a parchment line cake pan (or you can use a loaf pan!). Place in the freezer while you make the ganache. 
- Add all of chocolate ganache ingredients together to the food processor and blend until smooth. Pour on top of the base and place back into the freezer until hard. Optional: add more crushed hazelnuts on top!
