Best Ever Healthy Apple Crisp

Best Ever Healthy Apple Crisp

  • total time: 1 hour and 10 min

Ingredients:

For the apples:

  • 6-8 apples
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • juice from one lemon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Crumble topping:

  • 1/3 cup almond flour
  • 1/3 cup rolled oats
  • 1/3 cup chopped almonds (any nuts will work!)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions:

  1. Slice apples and mix them in a bowl with the rest of the apple ingredients. Then put them in a parchment lined pan.

  2. Then add all crumble ingredients together in a bowl and mix until combined. Then sprinkle over top the apples.

  3. Bake crisp for 40-50 min at 350°F until golden brown.

  4. Serve with ice cream or greek yogurt!

  5. Enjoy!
